The QuickIndexx Chrome extension submits the page in your current tab with one click and shows your remaining credits. It's handy for checking and submitting backlinks as you build them.
Install
The extension is installed manually (not from the Chrome Web Store):
- Download the zip from the Integrations page and unzip it to a folder you'll keep.
- Open
chrome://extensionsin Chrome. - Turn on Developer mode (top right).
- Click Load unpacked and select the unzipped folder.
- Pin the extension from the puzzle-piece menu so it's always visible.
Other Chromium browsers (such as Edge or Brave) usually support Load unpacked the same way.
Connect it to your account
The extension uses your API key:
- Open API & integrations and create a key if you don't have one. Copy it when it's shown.
- Make sure API access is switched on for the key.
- If you use an IP whitelist, note that requests from the extension come from your own internet connection, so your current IP must be on the list (or leave the list empty).
- Open the extension and paste the key.
Submit a page
- Go to the page you want crawled, such as a new guest post that links to you.
- Click the extension icon.
- Click Submit this tab.
The URL appears in your History like any other submission. It costs 1 credit, and the 24-hour credit-back applies.
Troubleshooting
- Key rejected (401): the key was regenerated or revoked. Paste the current key from the dashboard.
- Access denied / 403: API access is off for the key, or your IP isn't on the whitelist.
- Not enough credits: top up in Billing.
- The extension disappeared after moving the folder: Chrome loads it from that folder. Load it again from its new location.
Keep your key private
Anyone with your key can spend your credits. Don't share your browser profile, and regenerate the key in the dashboard if you think it has leaked. More in Your API key and first call.
