Continue with Google lets you sign up or log in without a QuickIndexx password.
Signing up with Google
- Go to Sign up or Log in.
- Click Continue with Google.
- Choose your Google account and allow access to your name and email.
- If no QuickIndexx account uses that email yet, one is created for you and your welcome credits are added.
We only use your Google sign-in to identify you: your name and verified email address.
If you already have an account with the same email
When your Google email is verified by Google and matches an existing QuickIndexx account, Google sign-in is joined to that account and you're logged straight in. Your credits and history stay as they are.
If the email isn't verified by Google, we won't join the accounts, because otherwise someone could use a look-alike account to get into yours. In that case, log in with your email and password instead.
If you bought as a guest
Bought credits as a guest with your Gmail address? Use Continue with Google with that same address. Because Google confirms you own the email, the guest purchase becomes your account and the credits are yours. See Guest checkout.
Adding a password to a Google account
A Google-only account has no password. To add one:
- Log in with Continue with Google.
- Open Account.
- Under Change password, leave Current password empty, then enter and repeat a new password of at least 10 characters.
After that you can log in either way.
Troubleshooting
- Google button missing: Google sign-in may be temporarily switched off. Use email and password.
- "An account with this email already exists": log in with your password, or make sure you're picking the right Google account.
- Blocked pop-up or redirect loop: allow cookies for quickindexx.com and try again, or try another browser.
