This guide takes you from a new account to your first verified Googlebot visit in a few minutes.
1. Create your account
- Go to Sign up and enter your name, email and a password (at least 8 characters), or click Continue with Google.
- New accounts receive a few free welcome credits, so you can test before you buy. The exact number is shown on your dashboard.
2. Submit a URL
- Open the Dashboard. The Index URLs box is at the top.
- Paste one URL per line, for example
https://yoursite.com/new-blog-post. - Leave Skip URLs I already submitted ticked so you are never charged twice for the same page.
- Click the Index button (it shows the count, e.g. Index 1 URL). You'll see a message like "1 URL queued — 4 credits left."
Each accepted URL costs 1 credit. Invalid URLs (local hosts, raw IP addresses, links with passwords) and duplicates are skipped and never charged.
3. Watch the status
Open History. A new URL normally moves through these steps:
- Queued — accepted, waiting for Google capacity.
- Signal sent — sent to Google; Bing, Yandex and the other IndexNow engines were notified at submission.
- Googlebot visited — a real, DNS-verified Googlebot fetched the page. This often happens within minutes, but it can take longer.
- Indexed or Crawled, not indexed — the result of later index checks.
If no verified visit arrives within 24 hours, the status becomes Refunded and the credit returns to your balance. Full details are in Reading statuses in History.
4. Before you submit, check the page
Googlebot can only index a page it is allowed to see. Run it through the free Indexability checker first: it catches noindex tags, robots.txt blocks, wrong canonicals and error status codes.
