History shows every URL you've submitted, newest first. Each row has a status badge, the time it was sent, the verified Googlebot visit time, other search engines, and the index result.
The statuses
- Queued: accepted and charged, waiting for a Google feeder with free capacity. Bing and the other IndexNow engines have already been notified.
- Sending…: being sent to Google right now. This lasts seconds.
- Signal sent: sent to Google through the Indexing API. We're waiting for Googlebot. (API:
submitted) - Googlebot visited: a Googlebot visit was verified by reverse and forward DNS. (API:
visited) - Indexed: a follow-up check found the URL in Google's index. (API:
indexed) - Crawled, not indexed: Googlebot visited, but the URL still wasn't in the index at the 72-hour check. Google chose not to index it, at least for now. See Crawled, not indexed. (API:
not_indexed) - Refunded: no verified Googlebot visit within 24 hours of sending, or the URL couldn't be sent within 24 hours. The credit is back in your balance. (API:
refunded) - Failed: the URL couldn't be processed. The error shown explains why. (API:
failed)
Other search engines column
This shows which IndexNow engines accepted the URL (Bing, Yandex, Seznam, Naver, Yep) and any verified visits from their crawlers.
Actions you can take
- Cancel a URL that is still Queued. It hasn't been sent, so the credit comes back immediately.
- Resubmit a single URL to send it again (1 credit).
- Bulk resubmit all Refunded, Not indexed or Failed URLs at once using the selector at the top. URLs already back in the pipeline are skipped, and up to 500 are sent per run.
- Search by URL and filter by status.
- Export CSV to download your history for reports or spreadsheets.
How long does each step take?
- Queued to Signal sent: usually quick, but it depends on today's Google capacity. Business packs are sent first.
- Signal sent to Googlebot visited: often minutes; sometimes hours.
- Index checks run about 1, 24 and 72 hours after the visit.
Seeing a lot of Refunded rows? It usually means Googlebot couldn't reach your pages. Read Why wasn't my URL crawled?
