Submitting URLs in bulk (paste or upload a file)

You can submit one URL or hundreds at a time from the Dashboard.

Paste a list

1. In Index URLs, paste your URLs into the box. One per line is clearest, but commas and spaces also work.
2. Keep Skip URLs I already submitted ticked. It skips anything already queued, sent, visited or indexed on your account, so you aren't charged twice.
3. Click Index.

The confirmation tells you how many URLs were queued, how many credits are left, and how many were skipped (invalid or already submitted). Skipped URLs cost nothing.

Upload a file

1. Choose the Upload file tab.
2. Pick a .txt or .csv file up to 5 MB. Any layout works: we pick out every http(s) link in it.
3. The file is read in your browser and the URLs are loaded into the form. Nothing is charged until you press Index.

Limits and rules

• 500 URLs per batch. If you paste more, the first 500 new URLs are taken and the message tells you to submit the rest next.
• 1 credit per accepted URL. You need enough credits for the batch; if you don't have them, nothing is charged and you're asked to buy more or submit fewer.
• URLs we can't accept: localhost, .local or .internal hosts, raw IP addresses, URLs containing a username or password, and our own domain. #fragments are removed.
• If you type a URL without https://, we add it.

Submitting backlinks

You can submit pages on other sites, such as guest posts, profiles or directory listings that link to you. Googlebot will be pointed at those pages too. Check first that the page really links to you with the free Backlink checker.

Untick Skip URLs I already submitted, or use Resubmit in History. Each resend costs 1 credit.

Larger volumes

• For thousands of pages on your own site, save it under My websites and let the daily scan feed new pages in.
• For automation, the API accepts up to 500 URLs per call.
